The modern jewellery wearer is looking for distinction; something unusual, memorable and unique that defines them and their personality. Independent jewellery designers cater to these needs.
This month the search for the perfect piece could be that little bit easier. A selection of home-grown talent will be slling their creations at the West End Craft, Art and Design Fair. The open air event in the tree-filled grounds of St John's Church showcases over 100 exhibitors (makers, designers and artists) every day.
If you're looking to add a splash of bright colour to your outfit, accessorise with a one-off bracelet by Glasgow designer Jan Milne. There are two ranges available - one hand-made from brightly coloured glass beads, mixed with resin, metal and swarovski crystals and a chunky style where each bracelet has a large Murano glass bead combined with a variety of semi-precious stones, crystals and diamante rondelles. Both look good - especially in the turquoise hues.
